Description Of Cisco QSFP-100G-ER4L-S Compatible 100GBASE ER4 Transceiver
The 100GBASE-ER4 optical transceiver is designed for use in 100GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 40km (with host FEC) over single mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1310nm via duplex LC connectors.
This transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ER4 Lite standard. Digital diagnostics functions are also available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.
This 100GBASE-ER4 optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration and performs identically to genuine Cisco QSFP-100G-ER4L-S transceivers, with excellent interoperation on Cisco QSFP28 port optical transport devices, such as Cisco Chelsio 100G switches/routers/firewalls/NICs.
